Greetings from MES Library!! My name is Mrs. Greenaway, and I am the librarian here in our building. This school year will be my 30th year of teaching. I started out my career as a middle school English teacher, and after receiving my Masters in Library and Information Sciences (MLIS) from the University of Pittsburgh, I became the elementary librarian 9 years ago.
Over the years, my mission remains the same: "To motivate, inspire, encourage and support students in reading and literature so they can build a foundation for life-long learning and reading".
This site serves as the "classroom" for our Kindergarten learners for the 2023-2024 school year. Here is where you will be able to access much of what the library has to offer.
The site will be updated to include any new information/lessons that comes from the library, so check back often.
Email me anytime at greenawaym@montourschools.com if you need any further help.
