If you had told me years ago that I'd one day become a school librarian, I probably wouldn't have believed you! I actually began my career in the world of finance, as an investment banker.  After the pandemic, I realized my heart was leading me in a different direction. I went back to school, earned my Master's degree in Education, and became a fourth-grade teacher in a public elementary school. My experience in the classroom taught me different ways to support literacy skills for kids and showed me just how powerful the right book can be. Today, I feel incredibly fortunate to help students discover stories that spark their curiosity, build their confidence, and inspire a lifelong love of reading.
