The Monticello Foundation, Inc. is a tax exempt corporation which was founded in 1994. The sole purpose of The Monticello Foundation is to financially assist Monticello graduates as they extend their education or career training beyond high school.

Attention 2024 Monticello Foundation Senior scholarship award recipients!
In order to receive your scholarship check this fall, please submit the following documents and information to themonticellofoundationincwisc@gmail.com :
1) your 2025/2026 class registration documentation (with your name and institution on it),
2) your transcripts from the previous school year (verification that you are a student in good standing), and
3) a mailing address (to send your check).
All three items are needed to meet the requirements for receiving your scholarship check. PLEASE ensure that you send a pdf (not a Google doc) with your name on your registration and transcripts.

Congratulations to the Class of 2024! The Monticello Foundation is proud to announce this year's scholarship recipients. Community support has allowed the Foundation to continue to award scholarships to these deserving students! The Monticello Foundation Annual Elmer Lemon Memorial Golf Outing will be held Monday, June 17th at Edelweiss Chalet Country Club in New Glarus. This is the Foundation's major fundraiser each year. The Monticello Foundation awarded scholarships totaling $26,500 to nine Seniors at the Senior Awards Program on May 24th. The students submit written applications and personal interviews to secure scholarships from the Foundation. Recipients include (L-R photo below) Angela Cash, Ian Schwartzlow, Ellie Gustafson, Tait Swanson; Linn Lederman, Foundation President; Grace Seffrood, Delenn Gillaspie, Alexis Schenkel, Nicholas Roe, and Aidan Harvey.
Since 1995, The Monticello Foundation has awarded $584,025 to Monticello graduates. In addition to awarding scholarships to graduating Seniors, the Foundation awards scholarships each fall to Monticello grads who are attending college. Eligible applicants must have 24 earned college credits and submit an electronic application for consideration.
The annual Monticello Foundation Elmer Lemon Memorial Golf Outing will be held Monday, June 19 at Edelweiss Chalet Country Club in New Glarus. The cost if $110 per golfer and includes 18 holes of golf, golf cart, dinner buffet, and prizes. In addition to the annual fundraiser, donations and memorials may be made throughout the year and be sent to Monticello Foundation, Inc., PO Box 636, Monticello, WI 53570.
