Gregorian Masses are a Catholic tradition consisting of 30 consecutive Masses celebrated without interruption for the soul of a deceased person. This practice, dating back to the 6th century and named after Pope Gregory the Great, is believed to aid the soul's release from purgatory by praying and offering the Holy Mass for the departed.
