Aaron and I were married in 2004. Aaron grew up in Montevideo, which is what brought us back here. We have 2 children, Kiya and Hayden who are both in the Montevideo Schools. As a family we enjoy camping, boating, fishing, hiking and outdoor activities. We also have a dog named Otis.

I've been teaching in the elementary for 20 years, 19 of them at Ramsey Elementary in Montevideo. I was raised in Willmar, MN and graduated from Willmar High School. I attended Ridgewater College and graduated from Southwest State in Marshall with my degree in Elementary Education. I earned my Master's Degree through Saint Mary's University in 2008. In the winter months, I am lucky enough to share my passion for dance as a coach for the Gold Duster Dance Team. I've been a dance coach off and on in Montevideo for 15 seasons.
