HawkBuilt is a student-run manufacturing education program based at Montevideo High School in Montevideo, MN. Our mission is to bridge the gap between the classroom and the professional world through hands-on career and technical education.
Unlike a traditional shop class, HawkBuilt operates as a professional business. Our students gain invaluable job skills by managing every aspect of the manufacturing process, including:
Client Consultation: Taking direct orders and maintaining professional communication.
Team Leadership: Organizing build teams and managing production schedules.
Technical Expertise: Utilizing high-tech machinery to craft custom, high-quality products.
Business Operations: Handling accurate project pricing and professional packaging.
From custom wooden cutting boards, cribbage boards and personalized signage to handcrafted furniture, our products are a testament to the hard work and growing expertise of our student entrepreneurs. When you partner with HawkBuilt, you aren't just getting a custom-made product—you are investing in the next generation of Minnesota’s workforce.
