Meet Mrs. Lee - 4th Grade Teacher
Hello and Welcome! My name is Mrs. Lee, and I am thrilled to be starting my second year teaching fourth grade at Sanford Elementary.
I absolutely love working with fourth graders - their curiosity, creativity, and sense of humor make every day an adventure! In our classroom, I strive to create a positive and welcoming environment where students feel safe to take risks, be themselves, and grow both academically and personally.
A little bit about me - I earned my Elementary Education degree at Southwest Minnesota State University while working as an elementary paraprofessional. Before I decided to become an elementary teacher, I worked in the CCM Health lab for 15 years. I enjoying reading, going for long walks, and spending time with my family. I am passionate about helping students find joy in learning and discovering what makes each of them shine!
I live in Dawson with my husband and our four wonderful children: Brooklyn (18), Lauren (16), Nolan (14), and Addelyn (10).
In fourth grade, we will explore a variety of subjects, including math, science, social studies, health, and my favorite: READING! My goal is to help each student reach their full potential and develop the skills they need for future success.
I'm so excited for another year full of learning, laughter, and lots of memorable moments!
