Seniors and Parents,
As a yearbook staff we recognize the significance of tradition in our Montesano community but we need your assistance in keeping our cherished traditions alive here at Montesano Jr/Sr High School. After great consideration and discussion with other schools and the school administration we have implemented the following guidelines for the submission and acceptance of senior quotes and pictures.
Quote Requirements
Verses of religious nature are acceptable.
Any controversial slogans, remarks related to ethnicity or race are not permitted.
Foul language, curse words, etc., even with asterisks are not allowed.
Words or phrases that may offend the sensibilities of members of the greater Bulldog community.
Photo Requirements
No photos with clothing that would contradict the school dress code.
No hand signs. When in doubt, any hand signs or symbols will be digitally removed at our discretion.
Quotes, photos, and ads, will be required to meet the deadlines provided by the yearbook. Deadline times are determined by our publisher and leave little room for changes. Therefore, any photos or ads that are turned in past the deadline or that do not meet our criteria, will be eliminated from the yearbook. Quotes that do not meet the criteria or are late will be replaced with the class motto. If your quote is denied, a second choice will not be accepted and the 2025 class motto will be used instead.
Class of 2026 Motto:
The senior class will vote on a motto selection at their October senior class meeting.
Thank you for your cooperation and time,
MHS Yearbook Staff
