Welcome to Mrs. Gallup's 3rd Grade Class

Hello! My name is Shannon Gallup and I am very excited to be teaching 3rd grade this year! Montecito Union is a special place and I am proud to say that this will be my 12th year teaching at our amazing school. Before coming to MUS, I taught for 2 years at the Hope School District in Santa Barbara.

I am originally from the Midwest (Go Packers), and I moved to Santa Barbara over 20 years ago. I graduated with a BA from Cal State Northridge, my teaching credential from Westmont College, and a Masters Degree in Reading from Walden University.

I currently live in Carpinteria and when I am not teaching, I love spending time with my family, going on bike rides, and playing with my kids at the beach.
