Welcome to the official website of the Schurr High School Athletic Department.
For generations, Schurr High School has been a place where pride, perseverance, and competitive excellence define what it means to be a Spartan. Located in the heart of Montebello, California, our school has built a proud tradition of athletic success while competing in one of the most competitive leagues in the San Gabriel Valley. Our student-athletes represent Schurr with dedication, discipline, and a commitment to excellence both in the classroom and in competition.
Schurr Athletics continues to grow stronger each year. Across our programs, Spartan teams consistently compete for league championships, advance deep into CIF Southern Section competition, and represent our school with pride. From the dominance of our football program and the continued success of boys and girls water polo, softball, and volleyball, to the rising strength of wrestling, cross country, and boys and girls basketball, our student-athletes continue to achieve at the highest levels of high school athletics.
Recent seasons have brought historic accomplishments for many of our programs, including CIF championship titles, CIF Finals appearances, state regional qualifications, and record-breaking performances by individual athletes. These achievements reflect the hard work of our student-athletes, the dedication of our coaches, and the unwavering support of our Spartan community.
Beyond wins and championships, Schurr Athletics is committed to developing leaders. Our coaches serve as mentors who emphasize teamwork, perseverance, sportsmanship, and character—values that extend far beyond the playing field.
As we look ahead, Schurr Athletics is excited to begin a new chapter competing in the Metro Alliance Conference 12. We look forward to building new rivalries while continuing our tradition of excellence and representing Schurr with pride.
Thank you for visiting our website and supporting Schurr Athletics.
Go Spartans!
