Counselor Request for Support Forms Below

How to See the Counselor!

Whenever you need to talk to your counselor, fill out a student request form.  The forms can be found in the counseling office, your teacher or you can access in the link above, under “Parent/Student Only Form”

Turn your completed form into the counseling office or give it to your teacher.  We will talk to you as soon as possible.  Only emergencies will be discussed without a request form.

An emergency is any of the “3 Hurts” which are listed below.

The 3 Hurts:

When you talk to me, I will try to keep conversations confidential unless you tell me about the “3 Hurts”:

I may want to talk to your teacher if you tell me about a school problem, but I will discuss this with you first.

  Happy TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK!!

WE ARE SO BLESSED TO HAVE SUCH AMAZING TEACHERS AT MOI

Hello Everyone,  🤗

Hope all is well with everyone and you are all bringing closure to the end of a very challenging yet successful year.  You have persevered with great resilience.  Kudos to you ALL!  You are ALL AMAZING!

Take time for your Happiness and Breathe. May you all have a Self-Care summer.

This month's theme: Joyful June

This month's theme is all about finding joy in life, even when things are difficult. Research has shown that experiencing positive emotions in a 3-to-1 ratio with negative ones leads to a tipping point beyond which we naturally become more resilient to adversity. So let's train our brains to find joy.

LOOK FOR WHAT'S GOOD

Positive emotions - like joy, gratitude, contentment, inspiration, and pride - are not just great at the time. Recent research shows that regularly experiencing them creates an 'upward spiral', helping to build our resources. So although we need to be realistic about life's ups and downs, it helps to focus on the good aspects of any situation - the glass half full rather than the glass half empty.
