I am Ms. L. I have been a counselor at BME since 2013 when I moved from NY after receiving my Master's degree in School Counseling from Roberts Wesleyan College. My passion is to help students be safe and happy so they can learn to be better humans. I serve students in 2nd and 3rd grade. Along this journey I have become a foster parent/pet parent, with two teenage boys, several dogs and a cat.
I am Ms. Archuleta, and I have been at Bill Metz since 2021. With a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health, I initially aimed for the medical field. However, when the opportunity to work with children arose, I embraced it wholeheartedly.
Currently, I work with 4th and 5th grade students and also facilitate the Kindness Club and the Big Buddy Little Buddy Program. Working with the kids has been a wonderful experience, and my goal is to ensure all students feel safe and are encouraged to show kindness. It has been a joy to watch them grow and become the best versions of themselves.
