Steps for completing the FAFSA application
Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) needs to be completed by March 2.
This form needs to be completed in order to qualify for financial aid. No student will be offered any type of financial aid, including merit-based scholarship, without FAFSA being filed.
Once you see your confirmation you are good to go!! Make sure to check your email, if you did not get the email-your application may still be incomplete.
You must create an FSA ID-this username and password will help you sign your completed application electronically.
FSA ID documents needed are: Social Security Number, your personal mobile number and an email address.
If you are a dependent student, a parent/guardian whose information is reported on the FAFSA form will also need an FSA ID.
