Rafter claims that the day that was supposed to be the best day, actually turns into the worst day. Take turns sharing with your family the best day ever, and a day that didn't go as well as you wanted. Do you have a copy of Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day by Judith Viorst? Read it as a family!
The anticipation of Rafter and Benny receiving their superpowers has every Bailey family member watching in awe. Grandpa has super strength, Dad has flight, and Rodney has a super brain. All of their superpowers seem to go hand in hand with their personalities, and seem to enhance who they already were before receiving them. Time to create your own Super Family Portrait! Create a visual representation of your family and include a brief explanation of what each of their superpowers would be. Keep in mind what makes each person unique.
Super Symbol! Create an emblem to represent yourself. Use symbols and colors that are special to you. Maybe it is a symbol of a hero you would like to be or something special about yourself! Maybe you are good at a specific sport or activity? Use that in your emblem!
Both the Johnsons and the Baileys have top secret family headquarters for their top secret superhero business. If you could choose any building in your city or town to be the headquarters for your superhero business, where would it be? It could be a museum, a fire station, a local restaurant, or whatever better idea you come up with! Create a submission request to give your superhero family explaining why this building is perfect for the family business.
