Welcome!  I have taught at Monroe for over twenty years. I am originally from Rock Island, Illinois.  I graduated from Western Illinois University, where I met my husband, Joe.  We have two children. Dylan is a sophomore at Bradley University and Madelyn is in 12th grade.  We have two fur babies. Jersey our dog and Vinny the cat.

In 2013, I graduated with my Masters in Integrating Technology into the Classroom.  I played the roles of teacher, student, mom, and wife all at once! I love teaching and try to instill in my students that everyone learns differently.  I have first-hand experience with Sensory Processing Disorder, Autism, ADHD, and Anxiety in my own family.  I am passionate about teaching others how to treat and help people that may not act or learn like them.
