This will be my first year teaching at JHC and my 19th year teaching. I previously taught for 18 years in Barren County. I spent 4 years in 3rd and 4th grade, and have 14 years of experience in the wonderful world of kindergarten. I am so excited to be a cardinal! 

I graduated from Western KY University with a Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education. I also received my Master's Degree in Elementary Education from WKU. I am a National Board Certified Teacher in the area of  Literacy. 

I am married to my husband Blake and we are blessed with twin boys, Latcher and Lane, who will be 7th graders this year. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, and relaxing on the beach or at the pool.
