The first class dining room was a 114-foot room. It was large enough to feed 532 passengers at one sitting. Some of the menus survived the wreckage. The menus showed some dinners consisted of ten courses.
First class also had a reception room. Passengers could get together before for their evening meal.
Other areas in first class included a lounge, reading room, smoking room, veranda cafes, palm courts, and a Parisian-style café.
