This will be my fifteenth year of teaching and my eighth year at JHC. Prior to coming to JHC, I taught for seven years in Rock Hill, SC.
I was born and raised right here in Monroe County. I am the daughter of Kerry and Kim Headrick. I’m also a mommy! I have two beautiful blessings: Anna and Ruthie.
Many families are eager to learn more about their teachers once they receive their placement for the new school year (that's probably why you're reading this). I have included answers to questions that students frequently ask me each year. I look forward to learning about all of my students!

Books: Way too many to list: Matilda, Because of Winn-Dixie, Harry Potter Series (I have many favorites)
Authors: Roald Dahl, Kate DiCamillo, Margie Palatini, and Lois Lowry
TV Shows: Gilmore Girls, Judge Judy, The Great British Bake Off,
Games: Chinese Checkers, Rummy, word puzzles, and Mario Kart
Drinks: Diet Citrus Green Tea, Sprite Zero, Diet Mountain Dew
Snacks: Boom Chicka Pop (Kettle Corn or Cinnabon)
Sport: Baseball
Favorite Team: Cincinnati Reds (even when they're not doing well) :)
Hobbies/Interests: Spending time with my family, Reading (which looks more like listening to audiobooks as a mom), Decorating, Designing Curriculum, Watching Baseball, Playing Board Games and Card Games
