About Mr. Rice

I am a husband, father, son, brother, and an educator.  I graduated from Barren County in 1998 and then attended Western Kentucky University where I majored in both History and Religious Studies.  I married my wife at the beginning of my senior year in college.  Upon graduation I began a business career in retail management.  I worked for two separate businesses for a total of 10 years before I chose a new career path.  My love for knowledge and teaching others led me to return to college and become a certified teacher.  In 2017 I became a certified social studies teacher.  

Among my many interests, I enjoy spending time with my family, travelling, the outdoors, and playing guitar.
