In January, this will be 19th year as a teacher at Joe Harrison Carter Elementary School. I graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education in 2005. I taught Kindergarten Reading Intervention at J.H.C. for one semester and then transferred to first grade in August 2006. In 2010, I graduated with a Masters of Arts in Elementary Education. I have taught kindergarten, first and second grades at JHC. I am starting my third year as the Reading Intervention Teacher at JHC. My husband, Mason, works as a farmer. We have one son, Kason, and two daughters, Kendall and Khloe. Kason attends MCHS, Kendall attends MCMS, and Khloe Mae is still at JHC with me. They are the joy of our lives. I enjoy spending time with my family, shopping, camping, and spending time on our farm.
