Hi! My name is Mrs. Payton and I will be a first grade teacher this year! I am so excited to have an amazing school year with you!
This will be my first full year of teaching, and I couldn't be more excited! During the second semester of the 2025–2026 school year, I had the opportunity to teach second grade, where I discovered just how much I love helping students learn and grow.
I am thrilled to be joining first grade this year and can't wait to embark on this exciting learning adventure together. I look forward to creating a classroom where every student feels loved, encouraged, and excited to learn each day!
Over the summer, I married my husband, Zeb! He works in Tompkinsville as the Assistant Gas Supervisor, but when he's not at work, you can almost always find him on the farm. That's where we spend much of our time together—feeding, caring for, and keeping an eye on our newest calves.
When I'm not at school or on the farm, you'll probably find me shopping! I love keeping up with the latest trends and finding fun, stylish pieces to wear.
