WELCOME STUDENTS!
Hello Everyone! I'm Marika Hamilton, and I'm an Exceptional Education teacher at MCMS! I love being a FALCON, and I hope you do too! I was the PSR/Employment Coach for students at Monroe County High School for five years. I am currently in my eighth year teaching LBD students. I have a B.A. and M.S. in Juvenile Justice from EKU, a Master of Arts in Education-Teaching Exceptional Education, LBD, and a Master of Arts of Education-School Counseling from University of the Cumberlands (Rank 1). This year I will be teaching 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Math and English. I'm married to Clifton Hamilton, principal at Monroe County High School. We have one daughter, Cienna MaKaye, who is in 7th grade! I'm am very blessed to be able to teach children. I love spending time with my family, shopping, cooking, watching movies, and going to the pool.
