WELCOME STUDENTS!
Hello Everyone! I'm Marika Hamilton, and I'm an Exceptional Education teacher at MCHS! I'm excited to be a FALCON, and I hope you are too! I was a PSR/Employment Coach for students at Monroe County High School for five years. I am currently in my sixth year teaching LBD students. I have a B.A. and M.S. in Juvenile Justice from EKU, a Master of Arts in Education-Teaching Exceptional Education, LBD, and a Master of Arts of Education-School Counseling from University of the Cumberlands (Rank 1). This year I will be teaching English 1, Biology, Government and Civics, Geometry, and Business Math. I'm married to Clifton Hamilton, assistant principal and head girls basketball coach at Monroe County High School. We have one daughter, Cienna MaKaye, who is starting 5th grade! I'm am very blessed to be able to teach children. I love spending time with my family, shopping, cooking, watching movies, and going to the pool.
