After graduating from Monroe County High School in 1989, I attended Western Kentucky University. I graduated in 1995 with a BA in Psychology and returned to WKU and earned a BS in Biology with teaching certification. I began my teaching career in 1998 at Metcalfe County High School where I worked for eight years. While there, I taught Biology, Introduction to Chemistry and Physics, Anatomy, AP Biology and Psychology. In 2006, I took a position at Monroe County Middle School teaching 7th grade science. I came to Monroe County High School in 2007 where I have taught Integrated Science, Biology, Earth & Space Science & AP Biology. I have worked as Falcon Academy assistant principal & counselor, head teacher at MCHS and I served as MCHS assistant principal from November 2014 to June 2019. I love working with students, parents, staff, Monroe County ATC and community members in order to make MCHS a successful school that prepares students for the future.
