After graduating from Monroe County High School in 1989, I attended Western Kentucky University. I began my teaching career in 1998 at Metcalfe County High School where I worked for eight years. While there, I taught Biology, Introduction to Chemistry and Physics, Anatomy, AP Biology and Psychology. In 2006, I took a position at Monroe County Middle School teaching 7th grade science.
