About Me

     Hello! My name is Mrs. Jolene Ford. I am the library media specialist at GES. I graduated from WKU in 2004 with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I taught 2nd/3rd grade for 5 years at Allen County Primary Center and Joe Harrison Carter Elementary before becoming a library media specialist. I graduated from WKU with a Masters degree in Library Sciences in 2008. I have been bIessed to be the media specialist at GES for 16 years now. I have been an educator for 21 years. 

     I am married to Joey Ford. He is a registered nurse at the Healthy Kids Clinic in Glasgow, KY. We have two children, Jonah, age 23, and Josie, age 20. We enjoy spending time together, spending time with extended family and traveling. 

     I love working with students to help them find a love for reading! I also enjoy learning innovative ways to use technology in the classroom and library. Watching students challenge themselves motivates me to keep learning too!
