Supplies
These supplies are required for our class in addition to the general 5th grade supply list that was sent from the school. Here is the link for the general supply list: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1a4uAeygeFu7bPcsK5QmdxsJt9d0elPcj/view
· One 3-inch binder (zippered ones are best). *Note: the binder needs to have 1 set of rings, not 2. The ones with 2 smaller rings on each side cannot hold the number of papers the students will have throughout the year.
Here is an example: https://www.amazon.com/Zipper-Binder-3-Inch-Black/dp/B0B36JXJKC?source=ps-sl-shoppingads-lpcontext&ref_=fplfs&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&gQT=1&th=1
· 1-2 packs of cap erasers for pencils
· 1 book cover (jumbo is best if using a book sock)
· A small box of colored pencils
· A 4-pack of thin black Sharpies
· Several packs of post-it notes (start with 3, but may need to replenish)
· 1 pack of lined index cards
Please note: Many of these binders have side pockets. We will use these for homework handouts and unfinished classwork. These are NOT the same as the tab dividers with pockets on the general supply list. Those will go in the rings of the binder for each subject to hold notes and binder paper.
Please label the tab dividers with pockets that go in the binder rings:
o Science
o Social Studies
o Math
o Health
o ELA
*Supplies must be refilled throughout the year. Items such as looseleaf paper, pens and pencils get used up quickly. A good time to check would be around Winter Break, and then again around Spring Break.
