📝 Genesis

All grades and progress reports are posted in Genesis, an online gradebook. Please make sure you have signed up to access the website (https://parents.monroe.k12.nj.us/).

During the first week of school, please be on the lookout for a copy of a Falcon Yearly Informer from each of your child’s teachers. This will give you a breakdown of each teacher’s expectations, policies, and grading system. Some teachers may request your signature to confirm you have read over the document.

Google Drive Organization

Google Drive Organization Directions

Directions: The organization of your Google Drive is essential for staying on top of your schoolwork. Organize your Google Drive by following these steps:

(1) Go to your main Google Drive page (drive.google.com)

(2) Watch the video “How to Organize Your Google Folders for School” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dKMhtSKYxfo. The video is 8:34 minutes. This teacher who made this video has an 8th grade class, so don’t let that confuse you.

(3) Start creating your folders according to the 4 step process in the video.

(4) Move assignments to the appropriate folder. You can right click and select “move” or drag them to the appropriate folder.

(5) Color code your folders.
