Summer Assignments & Supplies

BACKPACKS & BINDERS

When purchasing backpacks, keep size in mind as they will hang in the lockers throughout the school day. No wheeled backpacks are permitted.

Students will use a locker to store their supplies. For safety purposes, backpacks are not allowed in the classroom. As a result, we recommend the following binder set up option:

PLEASE NOTE

Students will receive a school-issued agenda to record their daily homework assignments and upcoming projects/assessments. 

Binder Requirement

• (Two) 2-inch binders for math, science, social studies, ELA, and Life Literacies (grouped according to your student’s individual schedule) 

GENERAL SUPPLIES

• Zippered pencil case

• Lined paper & 1 pkg. sheet protectors

• Pencils & erasers

• Blue/black and assorted colored pens

• Binder dividers (4-5 packages) 

• Homework folder

• Highlighters

• Dry Erase Marker

Suggested items: tissues, black thin Sharpie, index cards, coloring supplies 

ELA SUPPLIES

Please note that students in Ms. Kopko’s ELA classes will be using a section of the AM or PM binder instead of a marble notebook.
