When a student returns to school after an absence, they are responsible for making up any missed homework, classwork, and tests. The due dates and test make-up schedule will be determined by the teacher, based on the length of the absence and classroom needs.
All students are expected to submit their homework on the due date. If there is an important reason why a student cannot submit the homework on time, a parent or guardian should email me explaining the situation.
Yes, birthday celebrations are allowed, but they should be kept simple. We ask that they do not disrupt learning time and that our no food policy is respected.
If you child would like to bring something in to share with classmates (such as stickers, pencils, or small non- food items), please ensure there is enough for all students in the class.
Yes, take-home folders will typically be sent home every Friday. These folders are used to communicate important information with parents, including student behavior, grades, and classroom announcements. Please be sure to check your child's folder each week, sign where indicated, and return it on the next school day.
