To play, you place all the cards face down and flip over 4 cards at a time to see if any of them are matches. It is important for your child to say the whole fact whenthey find a match such as 3 + 4= 7.
Play War-use a deck of cards (remove the ace, king, queen, and jack cards) and divide up the cards face down into two piles. Each person flips 2 cards over from their pile and adds or subtracts the numbers. Whoever has the highest (addition) or lowest number (subtraction) wins and takes all the cards for that round. You can also play this game using flashcards. Place flashcards face down in two piles and each player flips over one card. Whoever has the higher or lower answer wins. Decide before the game if you it wil be the higher or lower number.
