Rhythmic Movement

Rhythmic Movement is a year long elective that counts toward the Physical Education requirement. The purpose of this course is to introduce students to various rhythmic movement activities. The course is designed for students who have an interest in activities such as dance, yoga and fitness, and the desire to expand their knowledge in the areas. The goal of this course is for students to learn, understand, demonstrate, apply, and create concepts involved in rhythmic movements during class with hopes of discovering a lifelong activity that students can participate in beyond the classroom.
