Monroe is a special place to me because I graduated from MTHS back when the middle school was the high school. I love working in Monroe because of the wonderful students, supportive families, and a collaborative staff.
I have been teaching for 18 years. This is my 9th year teaching in Monroe. Last year I rejoined the Mill Lake team, to teach 1st grade. Prior to my maternity leave in 24-25 school yeaer, I taught 3rd grade. I am overjoyed to come back up to 3rd grade.
My philosophy is that we are a team. My goal is to provide a safe, and enjoyable classroom environment. I plan on carrying this out by having structured routines and procedures. Children thrive on routine and predictability.

A little about me outside of school: In May of 2024 my husband and I welcomed our wonderful son Vincent. You will hear all about him and our dogs Flynn and Nico. I love sharing pictures and talking about them. I love Starbucks, going to Walt Disney World, the beach, exercising, the Yankees, and the NJ Devils.
