Science
There are four main units that we will be focusing on in 5th grade science.Â
Our Science unit for the first marking period will focus on the Earth, the Moon, and the Stars.
The other topics we will be focused on are Living Things and Ecosystems, Changes in Matter, and Earth Systems. Students will have a different workbook for each topic.
The topics will be taught with a variety of methods using closed reading in the workbook, as well as PowerPoints to reinforce the lessons. Students will be taking notes.
Assessments will be announced at least one week in advance. Study guides will be provided.
