About the Teacher

About Me

Hi! My name is Mrs. Chase, and this is my nineteenth year teaching in the Monroe Township School District. I am a graduate of William Paterson University with an English degree and certification in Education. I initially taught fourth grade at Woodland School for three years but soon ventured over to the middle school to teach my two favorite subjects - reading and writing! 

I love going to the beach, shopping, reading thriller and historical fiction novels, walking my golden retriever (his name is Rooster! 🦮), attending professional sports' games, and venturing on road trips with my family. I also love soccer (I coached at MTHS for 10 years!) and talking sports.

Each day I aim to bring an open mind, maintain a positive attitude, and set high expectations in the classroom. I believe that by promoting hard work and passion, it will inspire and encourage students to be the best version of themselves. I look forward to this school year and am so excited to meet all of my new students in September. We are going to have so much fun!
