2025-2026 2nd GRADE TEAM'S SUPPLY LIST

                       (These are the same supplies that every 2nd grade teacher is requesting.)

Parents are kindly asked to please supply the following items for the upcoming school year if possible. (This is not mandatory as I will provide anything that you cannot.)

2 Folders (with pockets on bottom, not on the sides)

2 WIDE ruled spiral notebooks (no college-ruled lines please)

1 pencil case or "pouch" for storing supplies (must be small enough to fit in desk - it is better for students to have 2 smaller ones than 1 big one that won't fit.)

** Please note, that in our classroom, students will have a cubby supply basket to hold extra items so that desks are not "packed" and items can be easily accessed. For example, students may keep several pencils in their pencil cases at their desks but can have a big box of pencils in their supply basket when more are needed. 

24 pk of crayons - best if they are also in a ziplock baggie 'cause boxes break

1 box of yellow SHARPENED pencils- you can place the child's initials on them

1 pair of kid's scissors 

6 (or more) glue sticks

6 (or more) EXPO markers (Any dark colors - no yellow please)

2 Highlighters (any color)

1 three ring binder, 1 inch preferred - no bigger please

**Parents may be asked to help replenish some supplies later in the school year.

Optional But Appreciated

These items are specific to our classroom needs

2 or more rectangular pink erasers

RED, BLUE and/or BLACK ERASABLE pens for doing classwork that can be erased

1 small white board eraser or 1 white sock (can be an old sock) to be used as an eraser)

1 box of tissues (which can be sent in anytime during the year)

1 container of wet wipes for hands or Clorox wipes for other items, like desks

Students will have access to shared magic markers, colored pencils, erasable pens, gel pens, flair thin markers, etc.  If you want your child have their own personal "art media" items, it is permitted. 

Please do not send in permanent markers for your child's personal use.

Please put your child's name or initial's on all the items that you send in, except for shared items like tissues, wipes, etc.
