Meet Mrs. Sano ๐ฒ
My name is Danielle Sano, and I am so excited to welcome you and your child to Kindergarten!
This is my 21st year teaching at Barclay Brook Elementary School, and I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of such an amazing school community. One of my favorite parts of teaching is building strong relationships with my students and their families. I believe that when teachers and parents work together as a team, children have the best opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed.
This is my 21st year teaching at Barclay Brook Elementary School. For most of my teaching career, I have had the joy of teaching first grade, and I have loved every minute of it! Watching my students grow from the beginning of the school year to the end has always been one of the most rewarding parts of being a teacher.
This year, I am excited to begin a new adventure in Kindergarten! I am looking forward to experiencing all of the excitement that comes with a child's very first year of elementary schoolโlearning letters and sounds, discovering new ideas, making friends, becoming more independent, and celebrating all of those amazing firsts along the way.
While Kindergarten is a new adventure for me, my years of experience teaching first grade have given me a deep understanding of the skills, confidence, and independence children need as they begin their elementary school journey. I am excited to bring that experience with me as we create a classroom where every child feels safe, loved, supported, and excited to learn.
I believe that when teachers and families work together as a team, children have the best opportunity to learn and grow. I look forward to getting to know each of my students and their families and making this Kindergarten year a fun, memorable, and exciting adventure!
