Ed Tech Tools

Schoology

The user leaving the district can save all their materials to Resources and then perform an export. The export will be in Common Cartridge format for the user to either import to another Schoology account or for other systems. More information on how to perform the export can be found here: https://support.schoology.com/hc/en-us/articles/115015843928-Exporting-Resources

Regarding sharing resources, I did test this out and noticed that once the user is marked inactive the shared resources will still be available. Users can still copy the resources to the Resources or their courses even after the user is marked inactive. Another alternative to sharing resources is creating a Group and uploading the content to Group Resources to allow for easy access to users that may need to reference it later.

Edpuzzle

A teacher could change their email address and Google/Microsoft accounts in their Edpuzzle account so they can keep the account entirely if that works for them. More information on this can be found here: https://support.edpuzzle.com/hc/en-us/articles/360007745391-How-do-I-update-my-personal-information-or-preferences-

They can also disconnect their Google/Microsoft account and connect a personal one on the profile page as well.

Nearpod

When you downgrade from a paid account type to a free one, lessons will be archived on our servers but not accessible to you. The user has the option of saving all lessons as pdfs but they will lose interactive features, user can also change the email address to a personal email.
