YWAM Montana Updates
Hello friends and family! I want to preface this letter by saying that it is through God's faithfulness and your generosity that I am even able to be writing from the beautiful YWAM base in Montana now, and that absolutely will not be forgotten by me—many thanks to you and all praise to the most high!
Upon arriving at the base, not only was I greeted by beautiful scenery and Stellar views, but I was also greeted by the most beautiful community of individuals on fire for the Lord from all across
the globe. I have learned so much already from my international friends about different cultures and perspectives and I hope to learn much more in the future.
Each week we will have a different guest speaker who will be speaking on a new topic. Last week was "The Character and Nature of God" and my favorite part of that segment was learning that the trinity is equal and there is no part that has dominion over the other. This week the segment is "Hearing the Voice of God"; my favorite part of this segment has been getting the opportunity to listen for God's voice in places I've never noticed before.
Yesterday we found out our outreach locations! I'm going to Southern Thailand! I could not be more excited about going to this nation and sharing the good news that has radically transformed my life. I'm very excited to experience the culture of Thailand and connect with new people.
So far, YWAM has proven to be a transformative experience and God has shown his faithfulness by shaping and molding my heart to be able to share his heart with the world. I have gotten a taste of his heart and my hunger for him grows everyday. I just ask that you pray that the Lord would continue increasing my hunger for him; that the people of Thailand would be thirsty for him and when we come their hearts would be ready.
Financial support and donations for basic necessities for lecture phase and outreach are greatly appreciated! If you would like to support me, my contact information as well as my Venmo can be found at the top of the page :)
This month has been so full—as is my heart. The Holy Spirit has been moving in ways I would have never expected. This month's topics have been: Identity in Christ, Secularism, Forgiveness and Reconciliation, and Evangelism. The overall takeaway that I've gotten from these weeks is that the reality of being refined like silver is being so polished that anyone can see the creator's reflection in you. It means walking in the fruits of the spirit at all times and being so rooted in who God is that we have no choice but to pour out His love on those surrounding us. Another thing that has been highlighted to me is that we are set apart as Christians by being radically forgiving and merciful.
The week of the 27th was the start of our mini outreach to the town of Missoula. During that week, we stayed in a church and went out every day for 2–3 hours to tell the people of Missoula about our best friend (Jesus Christ, of course). It was my first time evangelizing in this way and the Lord really gave me a fresh perspective on evangelism. Mini outreach grew my heart for the lost so, so much. On Friday night, we had the privilege of going out during Halloween and talking to people about the gospel and offering prayer. Although there was some spiritual warfare that night, the Lord is always faithful in reminding us that he is always victorious over darkness.
To close, I would like to also mention that I have been working on raising financial support for my outreach to Thailand this month. I would be so grateful to anyone who would be so generous as to make it possible for me to have funds for things like toiletries, proper clothing for ministry in Thailand, and the ability to participate in ministry activities that require a bit of allowance. No matter the amount, it would truly be a huge blessing to me in my mission. During my training school, the Lord has grown my heart for the nations so much, and I am so excited to go and share the gospel in the nation of Thailand! It is my hope that you can share in my excitement and join me in this initiative through partnership in prayer and finances. I have linked my Venmo and my phone number at the top of the page.
Hello, friends! I hope each of you had an amazing Thanksgiving filled with blessings. My Thanksgiving was so sweet. The people on the YWAM base are incredibly kind and welcoming and invited us into their homes for Thanksgiving dinner. I also enjoyed a meal off base at the rental home of my friend’s family, and it was such a gift to spend time with so many dear friends.
The topics this month included the Holy Spirit, Relationships, Missions, and Kingdom Culture. I have seen the Holy Spirit move in so many ways and have learned a great deal about how to navigate relationships both inside and outside of missions.
I leave for outreach to Southern Thailand in just 7 days (December 8th). Please pray for Southern Thailand, as our first location, Trang, is currently experiencing flooding. Pray that families would find shelter and receive necessities, and please lift up the local churches as well. Also, please pray for our team—that we would be able to serve well, bring practical help, and be beacons of Jesus’ hope and peace to the people of Trang. Please also pray against any spiritual attacks from the enemy as we prepare to go to this unreached nation.
The Lord loves Thailand so much, and I am deeply grateful that He has sent me as a messenger of His love.
To close, I want to thank you all for your prayers and support throughout this journey. The Lord has been so faithful in providing, and it is through you that this has been possible. I am so thankful for each of you. I pray that you all are filled with the peace of Christ this week.
Jesus loves you all!
