Azran Osman-Rani builds disruptive new businesses that challenge the status quo.
His current venture, Naluri, is a digital health therapeutics startup looking to make chronic disease and mental health care more accessible and affordable.
He was previously CEO of iflix Malaysia, an internet television service for emerging markets, and founding CEO of AirAsia X, the first long-haul low-cost airline to go from startup to a US$ 1 billion revenue and a public listing.
Formerly an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company, he holds a Masters degree in Management Science & Engineering and a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, both from Stanford University.
Imtyaz is the Head of Transformation Strategy at AirAsia. Currently, he is responsible for AirAsia’s transformation playbook, supporting the transformation of the company into AirAsia 3.0.
Formerly, he was the Senior Director responsible for global partnerships and business development at Aerodyne Group, one of the largest AI & UAV service provider in the world. Prior to that, he was Director of Market Development for GE in Malaysia where he led the company’s growth initiatives.
He also has experiences in investment banking with CIMB & education non -profit with Teach for Malaysia. Imtyaz has also designed and built an automated urban farm growing food crops indoors. He is a graduate from Universiti Putra Malaysia where he obtained a Bachelors in Environmental Science.
Esther Chong is currently a Senior Lecturer and Research Pathway Director in Monash University Malaysia.
Formerly, she worked with Accenture in delivering business solutions to major clients such as Shell Malaysia, Hong Kong Exchange and Sakhalin Energy, Russia. She was also a certified facilitator with the National Healthcare Group, Singapore.
Her research interests are in higher education, service management and career change behaviour. Her work has been published in leading journals such as Studies in Higher Education, Quality in Higher Education, Psychology & Marketing and Journal of Service Theory and Practice. Esther has also been acknowledged with the Highly Commended Award by Journal of Service Management (Emerald Publishing Group), and Best Paper Awards in service research streams by Australia and New Zealand Academy of Management (ANZAM) and Academy of Marketing.
