Sheena is a PhD Candidate at BehaviourWorks Australia (BWA) at the Monash Business School who considers herself to be a lifelong learner and an explorer. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Master of Arts (Demography) degree from the University of the Philippines, Diliman. She has eight (8) years of development sector experience serving in international organizations like Save the Children, Oxfam, and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), fulfilling policy research, data analysis, or knowledge management roles.

In her engagement with the UNDP Philippines, she served as a Data Analyst for Pintig Lab, a digitalization and data analytics lab, which supported the conduct of COVID-19 and SDG-related socioeconomic impact assessments and policy research, the implementation of the Philippine Government's key digitalization efforts, and the completion of a project focused on enhancing women's electoral participation in the Philippines. She was also part of the Communications Group and the Gender Focal Team of the country office.
