EndNote is a reference management software which is recommended to Monash students. You can import reference information directly from Library databases and Search, and quickly and easily create in-text citations and reference lists in your written work.
The Library provides a guide on how to download and use EndNote, as well as online training.
If you use EndNote, install the EndNote Click browser extension to streamline finding and saving articles:
Find an article in any database (Google Scholar, Scopus, PubMed, etc.)
Click the article title or view the article page
Look for the purple "View PDF" button (typically lower left)
Click it to open the PDF in your EndNote Click locker (auto-saves)
Review the article and export to EndNote Desktop with PDF attached
Get EndNote Click from the Chrome Web Store
See the Clarivate EndNote Click guide for setup and exporting instructions
If installation fails, you may need to opt in to Google Additional Services:
Click "View" to opt in
Wait several hours for access to activate
