HALL FACILITIES

The main kitchen has eight ovens with induction cooktops, microwaves, toasters, kettles, and storage lockers. Cooking can only be done here and not in your stairway.

Kitchenettes are located in each of the stairways (approx 4 - 6 bedrooms share a kitchenette). They have individual lockers to store cooking equipment or food and a communal fridge. 

Bathrooms are located in each stairway. Additional bathrooms are located on the ground floor near the main common spaces.

The laundry is located on the ground floor, under the stairs to the Common Room. Equipped with front loading washing machines, tumble dryers, irons and ironing boards.  

The Common Room/Games Room is located on the first floor, and is equipped with a pool table, tennis tables, tables, plenty of couches, and a vending machine. 

The Projector Room is an offshoot of the Common Room. It is furnished with comfy sofas, equipped with a big-screen projector and surround sound.. A HDMI cord is installed in the projector unit making it easy to connect. 

The Plasma Room is on the ground floor across from the laundry. It has a set of comfy couches, TV and various gaming consoles.

The Kennel is located on the ground floor and has comfy couches, stools, a TV and stereo system. 

The Library is located on the first floor, accessed via stairway one. Power points are located on every desk.

Open from 8am to 10pm daily. Located on the ground floor just around the corner from The Kennel and down the hallway. Equipped with a piano. No alcohol permitted.

Located outside near the veggie garden. Swipe card required to access.

Mail boxes are located on the first floor off the main foyer.

It is recommended that you secure your mailbox with a lock of your choosing, which you must provide. 

Parcels and large items can be collected from the Administration Office or MRS parcel lockers.

Located outside in the centre of the hall. Features a nice shaded area with plenty of seating and two BBQ pits for residents to use. 

A communal garden managed by Monash Residential Services. Residents are welcome to use this garden to harvest a wide variety of herbs and vegetables. 

Bins are located in the corridors in front of each stairway, with red bins for general rubbish and yellow bins for recycling. Larger waste stations are located behind the hall just off the car park. 

There are also composting and specific waste disposal and recycling facilities available.
