ADMINISTRATIVE AND OPERATIONAL

Community Support Officers (CSOs)
Our Community Support Officers are available after-hours during the week, and all weekend.
They are highly trained staff members who support residents with:
General health and wellbeing
Mental health
Interpersonal issues
Incident and emergency support
They are just a phone call or text away, and you'll see them around your hall, at events, and around campus.
MRS Administration Offices
The MRS administration offices (sometimes called front offices) are open from 8:30am - 7:30pm every day of the week.
They are able to help you with logistics support, including:
Getting spare keys
Parcel and mail deliveries
Parking permits
Lost and found items
If you're not sure who to go to for help, just ask the administration office staff, they can point you in the right direction!
Security Officers
Monash Security Officers are available 24/7.
They are a team of dedicated staff members who:
Patrol the halls after-hours
Support urgent after-hours maintenance requests
Assist with emergencies and critical incidents
Ensure the safety of residents, staff, and visitors.

MRS Admissions
The MRS Admissions team are available from 9am - 5pm from Monday to Friday.
They can help with:
Rental invoices
Fees and charges
Lease changes
Rental references
If you have any questions at all about your residency agreement, get in touch with the admissions team. They're always happy to help.
Residential Life Staff (RLS)
Your Residential Life Staff are available from 12pm - 8pm Monday to Friday and a half day on Saturdays.
They are involved in all aspects of life on campus, including:
Running events!
Organising community-building, academic and recreational programs
Ensuring the residential community runs smoothly
They have offices in each hall, and you will run into them regularly at events and in the common spaces.
MRS Operations
The MRS operations team are available from 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday, and from 10am - 4pm on the weekends.
They manage:
General hall maintenance
Maintenance requests
Cleaning services
Make sure to submit a maintenance requests to get things fixed, and get in touch with operations if you need any extra support.
Resident Advisors (RAs)
Each hall has a fantastic team of Resident Advisors, who are an exceptional group of students who have been selected due to their commitment to building a positive hall community.
RAs live in your hall and they:
Run a wide range of events, social activities, academic programs
Provide their fellow residents with guidance and advice wherever they can
Build a supportive and inclusive hall community
You will see them around the hall all the time, and they will be in touch with you when you move in!
Safer Community Unit
Safer Community Unit (SCU) responds to reports and disclosures of concerning, threatening and inappropriate behaviour, including sexual harm and family violence.
SCU staff will listen impartially to your concerns, discuss ways to keep you safe, help you find the support you may need, and provide advice on reporting an incident.
Equity, Diversity and Inclusion
The Monash Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Team is made up of subject-matter experts, who focus on the implementation and evaluation of EDI practise across the University.
The EDI Team runs a range of workshops and training, shares tools and resources, and provides a variety of support to students.
Other services
The student service finder locates all Monash services in one place, including study support, counselling, disability services, and more.
You can use this tool to quickly find the support you need using filters and keyword search.
The hall handbooks contain important details about your Hall, the calendar of upcoming events that your Res Life Team is running, social media groups so you can stay connected with your neighbours and community, and other important information.
