Membership comprises an elected Executive team (voted by current residents), the Hall Society Presidents, and one high-performing RA from each hall. This leads to a committee best placed to ensure events and initiatives are designed with residents in mind.

Passion: I am deeply dedicated to giving back to the community, particularly to the friends, RAs, and staff members who have provided invaluable support to me.
"From my perspective, a positive outcome for the community is achieved when students have access to a consistent supportive environment, boosting their mental well-being and increasing their chances of academic success. Furthermore, I aim to inspire students to step outside their comfort zones by organising a wide range of engaging activities. This way fosters an environment that encourages exploration, experimentation, and the pursuit of new opportunities. Finally, the community would stand as an inclusive society that residents can always count on and is continuously open for feedback."

"I was a severe introvert, rarely leaving my room, sticking to myself and never even bothering to attend events. Living here has allowed me to grow in many positive ways. I am now more outgoing, social, and interactive. Due to this, I have managed to create the closest friendships with people I would, otherwise, never interact with. I wish to help others who may be in my previous state to also feel more ‘at home’ here and forge lifelong friendships of their own. I began opening up due to interesting and at times, mandatory events which piqued my interest, thus my goals and aspirations for the Residents Committee is to take part in creating those events in the first place. I wish to partake in creating new and even more peculiar, eye catching events to draw people in. To place them in a situation where they can interact with new people. To give them a ‘little push’. I believe that this would make their precious time in university, a much more memorable one indeed."

"I hold a deep belief in what I call the "Kampung (village) spirit," which embodies a sense of community and solidarity. It reflects a time when people were bound together in a close-knit village, where inclusiveness and mutual support were central to daily life. This spirit has shaped my perspective on how communities should function—working together to uplift and support one another...My goal is to foster a sense of community and solidarity among residents by creating opportunities for meaningful interactions. Through regular social gatherings, group activities, and collaborative projects, I hope to encourage friendships and mutual support among residents. A welcoming and engaging environment will help everyone feel at home, strengthening connections within the residential community."
