I am a doctoral candidate in the marketing at the Monash Business School, Monash University
My doctoral thesis is titled
Same Boat, Different Storms: Effect of Digital Marketing Emphasis on Franchisor and Franchisee Performance
I am particularly interested in addressing marketing strategy issues using machine learning approaches. I have strong expertise in working with unstructured data, especially firms' annual reports.
Prior to joining Monash Business School, I worked as a client solutions consultant at NielsenIQ, where I primarily conducted quantitative analyses related to pricing, assortment, distribution, promotion, and overall advertising effectiveness for a diverse group of clients.
Substantive: franchising, marketing strategy, marketing-finance interface.
Methodological: quantitative modeling, machine learning, deep learning.
