International Women's Day

The theme for International Women’s Day 2024 is Celebrating Women’s Achievement which is aligned with Monash Impact 2030 - Strategic Plan. Despite obstacles faced by female staff in the School of Engineering and IT to achieve equal participation, female staff have attained campus recognition. Hence celebrating these achievements will provide the pathways and signifies the progress that has been made toward greater inclusion for female staff in the School of Engineering and IT.

This year’s celebration will be hosted by Dr Susilawati, with opening remarks from the Head of School of School of Engineering and IT. The keynote speech will be delivered by the Chief Executive Officer, Monash University Malaysia and Pro Vice-Chancellor and President (Malaysia) Professor Dato’ Dr Adeeba Kamarulzaman. The sharing session will be delivered by Dr Eu Poh Leng, Senior Director of External Package Innovation, NXP Semiconductors that will be followed by the panel discussion to celebrate the achievements of Dr Vivi Anggraini, Dr Izni Zahidi, Dr Chua Yie Sue, and Nur Amirah.
