Students are not permitted to shorten the contract dates and will be invoiced for the entire duration.
Should you wish to arrive earlier than the stipulated contract period, a request must be made through accommodation@monash.edu, and it will be subject to room availability. If an early arrival is approved, students will be charged a nightly rate for any additional nights stayed before the official contract start date.
Studio Apartments have longer durations than those for the Residential Village. Refer to the contract dates provided above.
On-campus accommodation is not available at the Caulfield campus. However, if your studies are based at Caulfield and you wish to live on the Clayton campus, a free inter-campus shuttle bus is available. This shuttle travels between the campuses and takes approximately 20 minutes.
Accommodation pricing can be found here.
Invoices for accommodation will be issued at the beginning of each month and must be paid by the month's end. Please ensure that you can pay your accommodation fees monthly, irrespective of your scholarship schedule (if applicable). Late fees will be applied to overdue payments.
All on-campus accommodation styles are self-catered. You will have access to a kitchen or multiple kitchens where you can prepare your meals. The Clayton campus has an on-site cafeteria offering low-cost meals. Additionally, there are nearby eateries and a supermarket on the Clayton campus.
