A team of judges will review your digital story. Prizes will be awarded to the three entrants with the most creative digital stories and industry solutions.
Prizes include: a $100 gift voucher from Readings book store for the best entry, and two runner up prizes of Alice Zaslavsky's new soon to be release book 'In Praise of Veg'.
Whilst anyone can participate (and have the chance to have their digital story featured on the website and the big screen at Federation Square), we can only consider Victorian primary and secondary aged entries for the prizes.
If we share your story, we will make sure we only use your first name and age. We will get in touch with you to let you know we have uploaded your entry to the website so you can look out for it. Your entry might also be shared on social media. Again, we will not share your personal details other than your name and age. You can find out more about the competition terms and conditions here.
Our main judges include:
Dr Sandro Demaio: Sandro is the current CEO of VicHealth and can often be seen on ABC's Ask the Doctor and The Drum (and other places)
Claire Ferres Miles: CEO Sustainability Victoria
Alice in Frames: food literacy advocate, culinary correspondent for ABC News Breakfast & Radio, creator of Phenomenom and author of In Praise of Veg. Winners will be announced during the Little Food Festival on September 30th by Alice in Frames.
Professor Tony Capon Director, Monash Sustainable Development Institute, Monash University
Make sure you tune in on the day to hear Alice announce who the winners and runners up are. You'll need to visit the main site of the Little Food Festival on September 30 to hear the results of the challenge. We will also contact winners and runners up by email.
