This week's COIL class
Tuesday 12 November 11:00-12:30 (Tokyo time) / 1:00-2:30 (Melbourne time)

Before class:
We are setting up Google Chat spaces for each team. You will receive a notification in your Monash Gmail portal when your team Chat is set up. If you didn't have a chance to do so in last week's class, please use the Chat to say hello to your teammates!
Keep thinking about liveability and review the resources on the 'Pre-session' page if needed. Your team needs to make some decisions this week!
In class:
You'll spend most of your time in this class working in your teams to finalise your topic and parameters:
What aspect of liveability will your group focus on?
In what context - e.g. Melbourne, Tokyo, somewhere else? Single focus or comparative?
What specific problem will you be exploring?
Instructors will be moving around each team to answer questions and helping you make progress.
At the end of the class we'll get together again and ask a representative from each team to briefly explain their team’s topic and get some initial feedback from other students and instructors.
After class:
You need to finalise your team Proposal (Deliverable 1) by Friday 15 November.
Also note that there is no shared COIL class next week. Make sure you discuss how your team is going to continue working on the project prior to the next shared class on 26 November.
