Abstract submissions for both oral and poster presentations for MUM Graduate Research Week 2024 are now closed.
Under which theme should I submit my abstract?
Intellectual Property (IP) - If your research output has the potential to file for IP protection, ie. patent, copyright and/or trademark. It can be in a form of novelty, inventive step and/or industrial application.
Research Commercialisation - Research that showcases innovation, technology, Startups, and commercialisation strategies.
Research with Impact - Research that have positive contribution to the economy, society, culture, public policy or services, health, the environment or quality of life.
Participants with accepted abstract (oral or poster presentations) are required to attend the two exclusive Pre-Research Week Workshops.
Various prizes will also be available for both oral and poster presentations, including Best Presentation and People's Choice Award!
Best Oral Presentation: RM 600 cash prize
People’s Choice Award: Prize worth up to RM 300
Best Poster Presentation: Prize worth up to RM 300
GRS who are currently away for a mobility program are also encouraged to submit their abstract. However, do take note that GRS in this category will only be eligible to participate if their abstract is accepted for an oral presentation. Further arrangements will be made to accommodate this and will be communicated accordingly to the selected GRS.
Abstract submissions to MUM Graduate Research Week 2024 should clearly describe and illustrate significant contributions in terms of Intellectual Property (IP), Research Commercialisation, or Research with Impact.
